Highest Quality Early Childhood Development through Honoring Relationships Rooted in Equity and Social Justice

This historical video produced and aired by KNME public television in 1993 chronicles the story of the Family Development Program’s earliest work in the South Broadway neighborhoods of Albuquerque.  Many of the participants and families involved in Escuelita Alegre came to the Family Development Program’s special celebration for its 25th anniversary to honor the legacy of this powerful work that results in children, family, and community success owned and shared by all.
