Family Development Program’s Training and Development Consultants, Janelle Garcia Cole and Ybeth Iglesias, presented at the June 2017 Professional Learning Institute, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in San Francisco, California.  Their workshop, entitled A Missing Ingredient: Building Community-Based Collaborative Leadership, actively engaged participants in strategies to strengthen early childhood leadership capacity and collaboration within the early childhood community. Participants had the opportunity to view themselves as leaders and to explore collaborative practice tools from the Family Development Program’s innovative Early Childhood Leadership Tool Kit.
