Highest Quality Early Childhood Development through Honoring Relationships Rooted in Equity and Social Justice

girl building with colorsThe Family Development Program offers the highest quality knowledge on early childhood development through training that is based in state-of-the-art research.  We provide comprehensive professional development and civic engagement for parents, teachers, and other early childhood partners throughout New Mexico.  By integrating best practices that include active participation, adult facilitated learning and expertise on how children learn, Family Development creates “a community of learners” where each person’s contribution is valued. Our program enriches the quality of early learning opportunities offered to young children in homes, early learning centers, schools and other services by building shared understanding and knowledge about how young children love to learn, and how we can support this passion for learning as a sound foundation for school and lifelong success.
